EVENT DESCRIPTION |
The Southern African International Trade Exhibition (SAITEX), now in its 19th
year of existence is
Africa's largest specialist trade exhibition for non food retail products. It
is co-located with Africa's Big
Seven, the continent's leading food and beverage industry event.
Together the two events host over 750 exhibitors from 35 countries. Trade
buyers who visit from over
50 countries typically comprise importers, exporters, agents, distributors,
wholesalers, supermarket
chains and general retailers.
New for 2012
Both buyers and sellers can take advantage of the introduction of the BRICS
AFRICA EXPORT
IMPORT FORUM. Backed by BRICS country embassies, The World Trade Centre's
Organisation as
well as African organisations such as the SADC Private Sector Forum, The COMESA
Business
Council, the East Africa Business Council and the NEPAD Business Foundation,
the forum
heralds the implementation of the Africa Free Trade Agreement.
